What's Cooking? Lots!

On Thursday, September 26 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM, the 15th annual Fall for the Book welcomes its largest line-up ever of cookbook authors and food writers during the festival's session, "Haute Cuisine at the Hylton" to be held at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, George Mason University, Prince William Campus, 10960 George Mason Circle, Manassas, VA. 

At 6 PM there will be a panel discussion followed by cooking demos and discussions by each author. Featured writers will be: Norman Davis, co-owner of The Sweet Life, a custom cakery in Annandale, Virginia; Todd Gray and Ellen Kassoff Gray, authors of The New Jewish Table: Modern Seasonal Recipes for Traditional Dishes; Krista Gallagher and Kris Schoels, editors of A Taste of Virginia Tech; Dave Lefeve of Market Salamander in Middleburg, VA, and his wife, novelist Claudia Lefeve, whose works have incorporated her husband’s recipes; Forrest Pritchard, author of Gaining Ground: A Story of Farmers’ Markets, Local Food, and Saving the Family Farm; Michael Stein, staff writer for the blog DCBeer.com; Joe Yonan,Washington Post Food and Travel editor and author most recently of Eat Your Vegetables: Bold Recipes for the Single Cook; and Peter and Laura Zeranski, author of Polish Classic Cooking and Polish Classic Desserts.
