Come celebrate the Virginia Writers Club and its members at this special once-a-year meeting.
Keynote Speaker
We're excited to have as our keynote speaker Margaret O. Daramola, Poet Laureate of the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is a writer, spoken word artist and public speaker. She was raised in Switzerland, where she began writing at an early age. Margaret has performed poetry at notable events such as the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the African Union, and the inauguration of Hampton University's 13th President. Her first book, A Pathway Through Survival, is a collection of poems highlighting the process of healing using topical themes, such as falling in love, losing love, forgiving others and forgiving oneself.

Your registration includes the event and 3-course meal and beverages (not including alcoholic drinks).
Members: $50
Non-members: $60

We'll have family-style Italian food with choices for each course (appetizer, meal, & dessert), including vegetarian option. Your meal includes beverage, but not alcoholic drinks. Those are available for you to purchase from the bar.
