VWC Symposium’s first PAGE ONE critique session!
We heard you. For the past several years, respondents to our post-symposium surveys have suggested we have a page one critique session, and for our 6th annual symposium, we’ll offer exactly that.
Joanne Liggan, one of our symposium presenters, will conduct the anonymous critique, anonymous in that there’ll be no naming of names when she gives her feedback. Whether you submit or not, there is always something to be learned from a session like this. Ms. Liggan will bring her extensive experience as a writer, editor, and writing instructor to demonstrate why page one, your Grand Opening, can be the most important page of your manuscript.
To participate: Email the first page of your manuscript (300-400 words double-spaced) to jliggan@verizon.net by July 20, 2016. The file should be a Word doc or a PDF (no WordPerfect).
Submit now to reserve your critique space. The session is limited to an hour, and we will accommodate as many as we can.
You should attend the symposium to participate, i.e., Ms. Liggan will not give feedback outside of the symposium event.
