J. Thomas Brown signed his novels, The Hole in the Bone and Land of Three Houses, at 2nd and Charles, 9004 W. Broad St., in Richmond, VA on December 2. His poem, "Quiet Man" has been published in Moonstone Press' Which Side are You On? Labor Day 2023 Anthology which was released in October. In September, Moonstone Press included his poem, "Hotel in the Sky", in their Remembering Woody Guthrie collection and "One Way Zone" in World Laughter Day. He will send you the information to allow you to join in. If you are already a member of the Board of Governors, you do NOT need to ask for the information to join the meeting on Zoom. That email was sent on August 16, and the information will be sent again prior to the meeting date.

It is very important that at least one person from each chapter try to attend to help disseminate information to the members of the chapters. Each chapter is a part of The Virginia Writers Club, even if all the chapter members are not members of the state organization. Representation at Board meetings is, therefore, important. Attendance also helps us create a quorum to allow for voting on issues that arise during the meetings.
