Sara Robinson's recently released poetry book, Needville, is now a play. Adapted into a 2-act play, the voices of those affected by coal mining in SW Virginia come to life in recitations and readings of the poems. First performance is on March 4, 2020; 7:30PM at The Colonnades 2600 Barracks Rd. C'ville. Free and open to public. Seating is first-come, first-serve.

Artemis Journal 2019 is pleased to announce the date of our book launch on June 7, 2019, at the Roanoke Taubman Museum of Art. To highlight program there will be a special dance performance, “Poetry in Motion,” interpreting selected poems from our journal by the Southwest Virginia Ballet. This is a fund raiser for Artemis and the Taubman Museum. The journals will be released and available for sale at the launch.
