Bio
I am a retired dude. I grew up in the Dayton, Ohio area and graduated from Denison University way back when. I then spent four years on active duty as an Air Force Lieutenant after which I did sixteen years in the AF reserves, eventually retiring as a Lt. Colonel. When I finished my active duty time, I got a PhD in economics from Duke and then spent 30 years working for the government specializing in Soviet, then Russian Economics and then International Economics. After retiring I spent two post-retirement years with US Treasury Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. I spent a lot of my life either reading science fiction or watching cheesy sci-fi movies.
