Sofia M. Starnes

Sofia M. Starnes: Sofia is a poet and manuscript editor. Her poetry has been published in over 100 journals, and she has won many poetry awards and prizes (Aldrich Poetry Competition, Transcontinental Poetry Award, Marlboro Poetry Competition, Rainer Maria Rilke Poetry Prize, Virginia Commission for the Arts Poetry Fellowship, and Pushcart Prize nominee). She has had two books published: The Soul’s Landscape (selected by Billy Collins, former U. S. Poet Laureate) and A Commerce of Moments (Pavement Saw Press). She has performed readings and lectures at several colleges, universities, museums, and societies.
