Karen Jones

Karen Jones: Karen is an author, educator, and broadcast journalist. Her novel, Kingdom of Hearts, was her publisher’s best seller in 1997. Her second book, Up the Bestseller Lists, is a hands-on guide to marketing a book. She has two more books in the pipeline. She is prepared to talk about structuring one’s novel, creating characters, the use of setting as a character, structuring one’s writing life, choosing an agent, and effective book promotion. Karen teaches at adult writing camps, has co-directed the Chesapeake Writers Conference, belongs to American Pen Women, speaks at VWC conferences and symposia, and is a member of the VWC Board of Governors.
