The Hampton Roads Chapter of
The Virginia Writers Club

typewriterThe Hampton Roads Chapter serves the cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Virginia Beach. Our chapter is part of Virginia Beach Writers which for many years has been meeting every week. Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center in Virginia Beach. The first meeting of the month is also our VWC meeting.

We will elect new club officers in January 2007 and plan several new programs to bring new members and additional vibrancy into our organization. One effort will be a monthly writing assignment matching the themes posted on the VWC web site. We will also attempt to have a guest speaker each quarter.

We invite you to visit us if you ever find yourself in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area on the first or third Friday morning of a month. For further information, please e-mail Ed EdLong.
