A Rockfish Valley Poet and His Camera is a 134-page narrative poetry book by VWC Member Wayne H. Drumheller. His book includes more than 75 gray-tone Valley landscapes, character and theme photographs taken by the poet, starting in 1963 to the present. The conversational narrative poems describe the author's family as generational farmers and workers in the Valley and the life events that affected them and other with candid emotion. The book reveals a poet and photographer who grew up in a both a wonderful place and a place of deep emotional tragedy and sorrow.
